Foundry Coke is the main fuel of melting iron in the oven. It can melt the materials in the over, make the iron reach great heat, and keep good air permeability by sustain stock column. Thus, the foundry coke should have the characteristics of big block, low re-activity, small porocity, enough anti-crush strength, low ash and low sulfur.

Classification of coke and little knowledge
1)Coke is divided into metallurgical coke (including blast furnace coke, cast coke and ferroalloy coke, etc.), gasification coke and calcium carbide coke, etc.
2)Coke is mainly used in blast furnace iron smelting and blast furnace smelting of non-ferrous metals such as copper, lead, zinc, titanium, antimony and mercury.
3)Smelting industry, a small amount of calcium carbide, carbon disulfide, element phosphorus, etc.Coke powder is also used as a fuel for sintering in steel complexes.Coke is used as raw material for water gas synthesis.
